VANCOUVER, BC, December 15, 2023 – Cleantech innovator and Founder of Portable Electric, Mark Rabin, has decided to transition away from his day-to-day role as the Chief Visionary Officer at Portable Electric. Mark played a key role in revolutionizing mobile power when he launched the company in 2015 — with an initial focus on meeting the unmet need for portable, emission-free, and quiet electricity for the film and entertainment industry.

The foundational mission was to create a cleaner and environmentally safe alternative to gas and diesel generators for individuals and industries alike.

Building on that foundation, Portable Electric’s Voltstack ecosystem emerged, featuring portable solar e-Generators and mobile e-Chargers, solidifying its position at the forefront of innovative mobile energy solutions. Today, Portable Electric is a globally recognized leader in the mobile clean energy space and is trusted by customers and strategic partners throughout North America and Europe in several industries, including film production, construction, transportation, and off-grid applications.

Earlier in the year, the company engaged cleantech industry energy leader Keith Marett as CEO to oversee the business’s operation, growth and evolution to meet changing market needs.

Rabin will continue to contribute to the company by serving as an independent board director.
