Portable Electric Attracts Seasoned Clean Energy Growth CEO, Keith Marett, as Market Adoption of The Company’s Products Accelerates
VANCOUVER, BC, May 1, 2023 – Portable Electric Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Marett as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, 2023.
Keith Marett joins Portable Electric from his most recent role as President of Clean Energy Services at Generac Power Systems (NYSE: GNRC). Prior to Generac, Mr. Marett was CEO of Neurio Technology, which grew from the pre-revenue stage to having over 200,000 energy management systems deployed globally, until it was acquired by Generac in 2019. Since the acquisition by Generac, and subsequent appointment as divisional President within Generac, Mr. Marett helped bring to market Generac’s first residential solar plus storage offering, while scaling the team and delivering rapid revenue growth over four years. Before Neurio, Mr. Marett was Executive Vice President of Marketing and Strategy with Avigilon, a Vancouver-based technology company, which was acquired by Motorola (NYSE: MSI) for US$1B. Mr. Marett’s significant background in clean energy software and hardware applications will help accelerate Portable Electric’s strategy of integrating software and hardware solutions into its product offerings to add tremendous value to its customers, providing a fully connected job site setting, in markets such as film, construction and logistics.
