Why Portable Electric became a B Corp?
Since our inception, we have always been a purpose-led organization. B Corporations value purpose as much as profit and use business as a force for good. At Portable Electric, we consider the impact of the choices we make every day and view those choices as an opportunity to better ourselves.
The B Corp seal of approval shows our employees, shareholders, partners and customers that we are willing to hold ourselves to the highest social and environmental standards and commit to being transparent and accountable in everything we do. It’s going to be a long, hard road ahead, but the planet is worth it.
Our Commitments
- Becoming carbon neutral for Scope 1 and 2 through the use of carbon offsets by the end of 2023
- Becoming a net-zero organization for Scope 1 and 2 by 2030
- Developing a values-based code of conduct for all our customers and stakeholders
