In August this year, PG&E joined forces with Portable Electric in a bid to help them respond to these power outages within the state of California in a safe, environment-friendly manner. The following testimonial by Nicole McNeedy, Executive Director of The Food Bank of Nevada County is a result of the aforementioned successful alliance.

“We got in touch with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company who helped us out with Portable Electric’s VOLTstack 20K unit. The portable e-Generator proved instrumental – especially during public safety power shut off events. We were able to operate safely and still provide food for the community. During the crisis, we served more than 1153 boxes of food and helped over 2000 people.

“The way the teams at PG&E and Portable Electric sprung into action showed that they understood and cared about our mission.”
